The January 2006 debut of Intersil's powerful new closed-loop amplifier, the DAE-2TM, stunned the audio industry. The DAE-2 from Intersil is the world's first digital amplifier with real-time digital feedback and real-time digital power supply correction.

This powerful, all-digital feedback breakthrough achieves a higher level of audio quality than previously possible. The DAE-2 corrects the audio output signal seamlessly using closed-loop technology that compensates for fluctuations within the audio system or the speaker load.

A Revolutionary Step Forward

The DAE-2 includes a fully self-contained, 4-channel digital amplifier controller that enables ultra-rapid system design for manufacturers of home theater receivers, multi-room distributed audio systems, OEM and aftermarket automotive amplifiers, powered subwoofers, 2.1 multimedia systems, and powered speakers.

A full-function audio DSP inside the DAE-2 supports multi-band parametric equalization, volume control, tone control, loudness, and compression for each channel with crossovers and power limiting for powered speaker applications.
